In the sector of the mockup, oil colors were usually used to paint or achieve effects. The colors that were used were those manufactured by the Fine Arts firms. We develop a specific oil for use in models. We had to adjust viscosity, drying time, brightness, etc. and develop a range of shades that cover those used in mock-up, initially many earthy tones, uniform colors, aviation, etc.
Development of an Oil range color for Modelling
Oil Paint
Our long experience in the elaboration of Oil Colors helped us to quickly adjust the formulations to the needs of drying, gloss, viscosity, application with a brush, etc. of the sector of modelling and miniatures.
Color Range
The tones used to paint battle tanks, trains, airplanes or military figures differ greatly from those used in Fine Arts. The miniature sector prefers to apply direct color to having to arrive at the tone by mixing, this forces to develop a very wide range.
Packaging
Searching process for a tube, label and packaging to differentiate this product from that used in Fine Arts.
Success
The finished product meets the technical requirements and has a “look” suitable for the public for whom it is intended. We continue to expand the range of colors in this line.
